したら、”SALE”のサイン…ちょっとだけのつもりが、いつのまにかかなりの勢いでワゴンを漁っており、結果
I went out the other day and found the sign of “SALE” I was gonna take a look just a little bit but end up searching for deals in the carts. Result

全部50-75%オフ。懐が寒い私にはうれしい買いもんでした。
Everything was 50- 75% off. It was great shopping for my wallet which I’ve been feeling very light these days.

Sea world…

へ行って来ました。
I went to Sea World in San Diego with Susumu.

まずは、
First,

大人気のシャチの所へ。でも面白かったのはカモメがシャチのおこぼれを待ち構えていたとこ。
で、シャチのショーもイルカのショーももちろん良かったのですが、もっと面白いものを見たのでそっちの写真をぜひにと。
Seagulls were waiting for some leftover from Shamus.
Of course Shamus and dolphin shows were great, but I thought they were more interesting, so I’m putting some pictures I took

人面魚～かなりブサイク。
Fish with human face. So ugly looking.

目だけ水面から出して泳ぐこの魚。超かわいいでしょ？
This one swims with his eyes over the water. Isn’t he cute?

ウミガメのおしり…お顔はというと
Sea turtle’s butt…her face is

「産ませてよ」と言わんばかりのお顔
she looks like she’s saying “Let me laid my eggs”

のなるとよく見かけるこの花。
I see this flower often in this season.

中からゴソゴソと忙しそうに出てきたよ～。カワイイっ もう少しアップの写真をーと思って近寄ったら、ぶワッーンってものすごい勢いで襲ってきてかなりのご立腹、もうカワイイなんてものでは無くて。皆さんも蜜を捜している蜂にはくれぐれもご注意を。
I found a bee he looked very busy. How cute! I came closer to take a picture, and all the sudden, he flew so fast and tried to attack, and it wasn’t cute anymore. Please stay away from busy bees for your sake.

お迎え。。。

に行きましたよ～この方の。旅行中にお友達のエリカちゃん(イグアナのジョンソンとフィービーのママで私達の師匠です)に預かってもらってました。
We went to our friend Erika’s to pick this one up. She has two iguanas, Johnson and Phoebe, and we call her an iguana master. She’s been taking care of Glico while we’re on our trip.

たった5日間だったけど、ずっと会ってなかったみたいな感じ。。。お利口さんにしていてくれたみたいで、帰りの車の中もいい子でした。行きとは大違い。
It’s been only 5 days but feels like longer… Erika told us that he’s been a good boy, and he was so calm on the way back home, too. It’s so different from when we’re dropping him off.

グリコ 「えっどこか行くのー？」
Glico “Where am I going?”

グリコ「えーっもしかして… 嫌だぁぁ」
Glico “Are you guys gonna…NOoooooo”

ゆきこ「こらこら暴れない！」

Glico “My guess is right, isn’t it?”

めちゃくちゃいじけて大変だったのです。
It was a quite hassle because he got sulky.

パワースポット。。。

と呼ばれるだけあって、何かいいエネルギーを感じますな。
Cathedral Rock is the one of the energy voltexes, I felt positive energy around here.

まずは、夏には水が流れている小川を横切って、頂上までのトレイルまで
First, we crossed the small river where water runs during summer, and found the trail to the top.

トレイルを歩き始めてすぐに見るのがこのサボテン。これ本当に縫い針くらい鋭くて長～い。
First thing we saw was this cactus with sharp and long spines like a sewing needle.

最初の5分は本当に緩い坂と岩だけだったのに、急にこんな具合に直角とは言わないけどかなりの斜め加減で、ハイキングと言うよりはロッククライミング。
First 5 minutes was just slow slope and rocks only, but all the sudden it got so steep like rock climbing instead of hiking.

途中で休みながら、
We took a couple of breaks

岩のふもとに到着～でも
We got to the foot of the rock, but

ここからはご覧の通りロッククライミングの装備が無いと登れません。
You can’t go on top of the rock without having a rock climbing gear as you can see.

美味しい空気を吸い込んで

しばしの瞑想?!?!と
Little bit of meditation?!?! And

少しのおふざけの後、
Fooling around a bit,

このパワースポットを後にしました。
We left this voltex.

3日目。。。

の予定はアクティブにハイキング…
The 3rd day, we’re planing to go on a hike…

早速休憩。待っていたのは、

Lavazzaのコーヒーとチョコリエール。もちろんお菓子はLAから持ってきたけど、お部屋に置いてある無料のコーヒーがLavazzaとはちょっと驚き～。
illyもいいけどこのコーヒー美味しっす。休憩の後は
Had some Japanese chocolate cookies and Lavazza’s coffee. I was surprised that they use this coffee beans as complimentary coffee. I like illy but this is good, too. After the break,

何処にも行かず、ゆっくりとグラミー賞を見ました。
We decided not to go anywhere and watched Grammy awards.

ビーチボーイズって！７０歳超えてる?!?!と思うんだけど。とにかくめちゃくちゃステージの上ではしゃいでて楽しそうでした～
Beach Boys… Wow! Aren’t they like 70 plus or something? They looked like they were having so much fun on the stage.

で～す。今日の予定地はセドナ。
アンテロープから車で約3時間です。
Day2. Our plan is to go to Sedona. About 3 hours from Antelope by car.
